1. Your documents never leave your device

PaperRail performs all PDF work in your browser. Your files are processed locally in WebAssembly (in-browser), and are never uploaded to PaperRail or any third-party server. When you close or refresh the page, your documents are gone from memory.

2. What we do NOT collect

• We do not receive, view or store your documents, images or any file content.
• We do not ask for accounts and do not require sign-in for the PDF tools.

3. Third-party requests your browser may make

To work offline-free without bloating the page, your browser may download processing libraries (WebAssembly engines like LibreOffice, PyMuPDF, Ghostscript, Tesseract and PDF components) from public code CDNs at the time you use a tool. These downloads contain only code/data, never your files.

4. Analytics

We may enable privacy-friendly, aggregate traffic analytics (e.g., Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand which tools are useful. When enabled, that analytics does not use cookies and does not identify individuals, and it is disclosed on this page. If advertising is ever shown, its cookies are governed by the advertising provider's own policy, and we will update this page accordingly.

5. Data we process automatically

Like virtually all websites, our host (Cloudflare) processes standard technical request data (e.g., IP address for delivery, TLS metadata, request URL) to serve and protect the site. We do not build user profiles from it.

6. Children

PaperRail is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13.

7. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
